Anuj and Anupama return home and are shocked to see Romil’s drinking party with his friends. Anuj stopped the music. Romil arrogantly asks who stopped it. Anuj says he did this. Romil pushes them calling them fools. Seeing which everyone is surprised. Anupama asks what kind of behavior is this. Romil used abusive words for him. Anuj slaps her hard and she falls on the table. Ankush picks up Romil and gets angry at Anuj. Anuj says that if Romil had completed his obscenity for Anu, he would have broken Romil’s face. Toshu brings Samar to Vanraj. Samar asks her to sit as he wants to talk. Samar asks if he wants to talk or listen. Vanraj asks what if father told already, as he called him to ask something. अनुज और अनुपमा घर लौटते हैं और अपने दोस्तों के साथ रोमिल की शराब पार्टी देखकर चौंक जाते हैं। अनुज ने संगीत बंद कर दिया। रोमिल अहंकारपूर्वक पूछते हैं कि इसे किसने रोका है। अनुज का कहना है कि उसने ऐसा किया। रोमिल उन्हें मूर्ख कहकर धक्का देते हैं। जिसे देखकर हर कोई हैरान है. अनुपमा पूछती है कि यह कैसा व्यवहार है। रोमिल ने उनके लिए अभद्र शब्द का इस्तेमाल किया. अनुज उसे एक जोरदार थप्पड़ मारता है और वह मेज पर गिर जाता है। अंकुश रोमिल को उठाता है और अनुज पर गुस्सा करता है। अनुज कहते हैं कि अगर रोमिल ने अनु के लिए अपनी अश्लील बात पूरी कर दी होती तो वह रोमिल का चेहरा तोड़ देते। तोशु समर को वनराज के पास लाता है। समर उसे बैठने के लिए कहता है क्योंकि वह बात करना चाहता है। समर पूछता है कि क्या वह बात करना चाहता है या सुनना चाहता है। वनराज पूछता है कि अगर पिता ने पहले ही बता दिया तो भी क्या होगा, वैसे उसने उसे कुछ पूछने के लिए बुलाया था। वह समर का हाथ पकड़ता है और पूछता है कि क्या वह ठीक है। समर ने हाँ में सिर हिलाया।
हसमुख कहते हैं कि चाहे पिता और पुत्र लड़ें या बहस करें, उनकी बातचीत खत्म नहीं होगी; जब बच्चा बड़ा हो जाता है, तो वे नदी के दो कोने बन जाते हैं और माँ उनके बीच एक पुल बन जाती है; वह डॉली को गले लगाते थे और लाड़-प्यार करते थे और वनराज को बचपन में ही गले लगाते थे; एक पिता को अपने बेटे को भी लाड़-प्यार करना चाहिए और पूछना चाहिए कि वह किस स्थिति से गुजर रहा है; एक बेटे को अपने पिता के जीवित रहते ही गले लगकर अपनी भावनाएं व्यक्त करनी चाहिए अन्यथा बाद में उन्हें पछताना पड़ेगा। तोशु उनके लिए कॉफी लाने जाता है। वनराज का कहना है कि वह उसे ठेस नहीं पहुंचाना चाहता था और अगर डिंपल को बुरा लगा तो वह माफी मांगता है। तोशु कॉफी लाता है और वे चारों इसका आनंद लेते हैं। डिंपी उन्हें छुपते हुए देखती है और सोचती है कि वनराज समर को उसके खिलाफ भड़काने की कोशिश कर रहा है।
एक बच्चे के दुर्व्यवहार को चुपचाप देखने और उसे नशे में धुत्त शराब का हिस्सा फेंकने की अनुमति देने के लिए अनुज बड़ों को लताड़ लगाते हैं। वह रोमिल के दोस्तों को अवैध रूप से शराब खरीदने के लिए उनके खिलाफ शिकायत दर्ज करने की चेतावनी देता है और उन्हें कैब या पैदल चलकर घर जाने के लिए कहता है, लेकिन अपनी कार चलाकर घर नहीं जाने के लिए कहता है। दोस्त चले जाते हैं. रोमिल चिल्लाते हैं कि वह कौन होते हैं अपने दोस्तों को भेजने वाले, उन्हें वापस बुलाने वाले। अनुज का कहना है कि अगर वह होश में होता और उसके चेहरे पर पानी छिड़कता तो वह इस पर सवाल नहीं उठाता। उनका कहना है कि रोमिल कम उम्र का है और उसे शराब पीना मना है, उनका राज्य ड्राई स्टेट है और यहां शराब बेचना गैरकानूनी है। अनुपमा कहती है कि यह अच्छा है कि पाखी ने उसे फोन किया और पार्टी के बारे में बताया, उन्होंने आकर इसे रोक दिया वरना पुलिस इस तरह की पार्टियों को रोक देती है। रोमिल पाखी पर चिल्लाता है कि उसने उसका राज छिपाया, लेकिन उसने अपनी मां को उसके खिलाफ भड़काया। अनुज उसे चेतावनी देता है कि वह पाखी के साथ अच्छा व्यवहार करे नहीं तो वह उसे घर से बाहर निकाल देगा।
वनराज समर को बताता है कि एक आदमी को परिवार और अपनी पत्नी के बीच संतुलन कैसे बनाए रखना चाहिए। हसमुख का कहना है कि वह लीला की बकवास बर्दाश्त करता है और गलत होने पर उसकी आलोचना भी करता है। वनराज कहते हैं कि आदमी घर में शांति बनाए रखने के लिए मौन रहता है, लेकिन कभी-कभी ज्यादा चुप रहने से घर की शांति खराब हो जाती है। तोशु का कहना है कि वे सभी उससे प्यार करते हैं और उसकी परवाह करते हैं। समर कहता है कि यह अच्छा है कि इतना कुछ होने के बाद भी वे उससे बात कर रहे हैं। वनराज कहता है कि वह उसका बच्चा है और वह उसकी देखभाल क्यों नहीं करेगा। तोशु का कहना है कि वे महीने में कम से कम एक बार ऐसी बातचीत करेंगे। हसमुख कहते हैं कि वे कॉफ़ी पे चर्चा करेंगे। वनराज का कहना है कि वह अपने माता-पिता के प्यार और देखभाल के लिए उनके घर में रहे और चाहते हैं कि उनके बच्चे उनके वंश को आगे बढ़ाएं। वे सभी एक-दूसरे को गले लगाते हैं और मुस्कुराते हैं। वनराज कहते हैं कि रिश्तों को जीवित रखना महत्वपूर्ण है। डिंपी चिंतित खड़ी है. काव्या वहां से गुजरती है. वनराज सोचता है कि उसे इस रिश्ते को सुलझाने की जरूरत है।
अनुज अपने बेटे को अपने सामने खराब होने की इजाजत देने के लिए अंकुश को कोसता रहता है और कहता है कि रोमिल उसका भविष्य बर्बाद कर रहा है और कहीं नहीं बचेगा। रोमिल अंकुश से पूछता है कि क्या वह उसे यहां सभी से अपमानित होने के लिए लाया है, उसकी मां उसे छोड़कर अपने प्रेमी के साथ भाग गई, यहां तक कि उसके पिता को भी उसे छोड़ देना चाहिए, आदि…
अगले भाग में: अधिक ने पाखी को थप्पड़ मारा और उसे अपनी सीमा में रहने की चेतावनी दी। अनु को इसके बारे में पता चलता है। पाखी कहती है कि यह पति-पत्नी के बीच आम बात है। अनु का कहना है कि किसी को भी किसी पर हाथ उठाने का अधिकार नहीं है। पाखी कहती है कि जब वह गलतियाँ करती है, तो अधिक उसे संभाल लेता है और जब वह गलतियाँ करता है, तो वह उसे संभाल लेगी। अनुपमा कहती है कि पाखी असभ्य व्यवहार कर रही थी और अधिक आपराधिक व्यवहार कर रहा है, जो विवाह को बर्बाद कर देता है। पाखी कहती है कि उसे रिश्तों को संभालने पर व्याख्यान नहीं देना चाहिए क्योंकि वह अभी भी कोशिश कर रही है, वह अधिक को नहीं छोड़ेगी और यह उसका अंतिम निर्णय है।
