When the car hits the road, Mahima puts her hand on Arjun’s lap and smiles at him. Arjun angrily looks at her and thinks why is she behaving like this. He reached the venue of Nekpur Independence Day celebrations. The villagers welcome Kashvi and take her inside. Arjun follows her, but the security guards rudely stop him and say that he cannot follow the Assistant Collector Madam. Mahima taunts Arjun that he is nothing in front of Kashvi now and he should get used to the humiliation, Kashvi will forget him and will not respect him anymore. Kashvi returns and asks Arjun what is he doing here, he has to be with her always. Guard asks what about his security? Kashvi says that Arjun is her husband and will be with her wherever she goes. She takes Arjun’s hand and goes to Mahima, feeling jealous seeing this.
Kashvi walks on stage. Sarpanch introduced her and said that she will unfurl the flag and listen to the problems of every villager. The goons attack Kashvi again. Kashvi beats him up and hides in the car. Another goon lights a bomb on his car. Kashvi thinks she must get out of the car before the bombs explode, but finds the doors locked.
Arjun saw Kashvi in danger and ran towards her. Mahima collapses and calls Arjun for help. Arjun thinks whether he will save Kashvi or Mahima.

जब कार सड़क पर टकराती है तो महिमा अर्जुन की गोद में अपना हाथ रखती है और उसे देखकर मुस्कुराती है। अर्जुन गुस्से से उसकी ओर देखता है और सोचता है कि वह ऐसा व्यवहार क्यों कर रही है। वे नेकपुर स्वतंत्रता दिवस समारोह स्थल पर पहुंचे। ग्रामीण काशवी का स्वागत करते हैं और उसे अंदर ले जाते हैं। अर्जुन उसके पीछे चलता है, लेकिन सुरक्षा गार्ड उसे बेरहमी से रोकते हैं और कहते हैं कि वह सहायक कलेक्टर मैडम के पीछे नहीं जा सकता। महिमा ने अर्जुन को ताना मारा कि वह अब काशवी के सामने कुछ नहीं है और उसे अपमान सहने की आदत डाल लेनी चाहिए, काशवी उसे भूल जाएगी और अब उसका सम्मान नहीं करेगी। काशवी लौटती है और अर्जुन से पूछती है कि वह यहां क्या कर रहा है, उसे हमेशा उसके साथ रहना है। गार्ड पूछते हैं कि उसकी सुरक्षा के बारे में क्या? काशवी का कहना है कि अर्जुन उनके पति हैं और वह जहां भी जाएंगी उनके साथ रहेंगे। वह अर्जुन का हाथ पकड़ती है और महिमा के पास जाती है, यह देखकर उसे जलन महसूस होती है।
काशवी मंच पर चलती हैं। सरपंच ने उनका परिचय कराया और कहा कि वह झंडा फहराएंगी और प्रत्येक ग्रामीण की समस्याएं सुनेंगी। काशवी ने अर्जुन को बैठने के लिए कहा और गार्ड से यह सुनिश्चित करने के लिए कहा कि उसे पहली पंक्ति मिले। अर्जुन अपना स्थान ग्रहण करते हैं। महिमा जाती है और उसके पास बैठती है। अर्जुन का कहना है कि उसे उसका उत्तर मिल गया होगा; उसे कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ता अगर पूरी दुनिया उसे नजरअंदाज कर दे, काशवी का ध्यान उसके लिए महत्वपूर्ण है और काशवी उसे कभी भी नजरअंदाज नहीं करेगी। महिमा मुँह सिकोड़कर बैठ जाती है. प्रद्युम्न गुंडों के साथ सरपंच के संकेत का इंतजार करता है और बायोगैस संयंत्र के खिलाफ विरोध करने के लिए गुंडों को भेजता है। सरपंच ने काशवी को सूचित किया कि ग्रामीण बायोगैस संयंत्र के खिलाफ हैं और उन्हें उस पर हमला करने से पहले यहां से चले जाना चाहिए। गुंडे उत्पात मचाने लगते हैं. प्रद्युम्न सोचता है कि वह काशवी से बदला लेगा कि उसने उसकी जगह उसके पति को बायोगैस प्रोजेक्ट दिया, वह अपनी कार में छिपकर नाटक देखेगा।

अर्जुन ने काश्वी को खतरे में देखा और उसकी ओर दौड़ा। महिमा गिर जाती है और मदद के लिए अर्जुन को बुलाती है। अर्जुन सोचता है कि क्या वह काशवी या महिमा को बचाएगा।
