Anuj thanks Shah and Kapadia for happily celebrating Kavya’s baby shower ceremony despite many differences between them. He says that they should unite and defeat every problem that comes their way. Hasmukh says they both made everyone emotional. Toshu asks if the party is over. Anuj says the party is still on. Vanraj and Anuj dance with their partners on the song Jab Koi Baat Bigaad Jaye.. The whole family joins them and dances. Anupama notices Kavya’s tension. Kavya takes her aside and tells Anupama that she wants to say something to her. Anupama asks her to move on. Kavya says everyone is very happy, especially V who is overjoyed and very attached to her baby even before it arrives; Leela has fallen in love and V has already started investing in baby names etc. Anupama asks when everything is perfect, then what is the problem. Kavya says that she is afraid that if any secret is revealed then everything will be destroyed; He is unable to hide it as his guilt is eating him up inside. Anupama asks him to tell what is it.
Kavya says that her child is not V’s. Anupama is shocked. Kavya repeats. Anupama takes her to a room and asks who is the father of her child, Anirudh, if not Mr. Shah? Kavya nods in yes. Vanraj tells the family that it is the most beautiful day of his life. Anuj asks then why is he dancing. Vanraj jokes that Anuj must have become old but he is not as he is becoming a father. He goes to drink water. Anuj goes in search of Anupama and Vanraj goes in search of Kavya. Kavya tells Anupama that she did not want to burden her with her secret, but feels comfortable sharing her secret only with him; He’s really sorry about that. Anupama says she should be sorry for her actions and not revealing the secret. She asks how did this happen when Anirudh was just her friend. Kavya says it just happened.
Vanraj and Anuj together search for Anupama and Kavya and think that Kavya must have felt weak and Anupama took her to a room. CA stops them and takes selfie with them. Kavya says she got weak for a moment. Anupama says that the entire family will have to pay for her one weak moment; If he has a problem with his relationship then he should break the relationship and then do whatever he wants to do; She cannot give any excuse for infidelity etc. Kavya justifies her act saying that it is not only her fault but also Vanraj and family’s fault as V never spoke to her properly and Leela always taunted her; She sacrificed a lot for Wei and made changes for her family, but they never appreciated her effort; She desperately loves V, but never gets love in return. She reminisces how Vanraj didn’t want to marry her after having an affair for 8 years and never valued her; She left home and stayed in hotels, but Wei and his family never tried to find her; She had gone to Mumbai for a modeling assignment when there she met Anirudh and during her weak moments etc., she gave up.
Vanraj asks Anuj to stay with the CA while he goes to check on Kavya. He slips on the stairs and his foot slips. Anuj jokes that he is really old and he helps her. Vanraj says he is worried for Kavya and wants to see her first. Kavya keeps on justifying herself.
Precap: Vanraj breaks down hearing Kavya that her child is Anirudh’s and not his. Brakha refuses to accept Anirudh’s illegitimate son and asks Anupama if she would have let him stay at home if the boy was Anuj’s illegitimate child.

अनुज ने शाह और कपाड़िया को उनके बीच कई मतभेद होने के बाद भी काव्या के गोद भराई समारोह को खुशी से मनाने के लिए धन्यवाद दिया। उनका कहना है कि उन्हें अपने रास्ते में आने वाली हर समस्या को एकजुट होकर हराना चाहिए। हसमुख का कहना है कि उन दोनों ने सभी को भावुक कर दिया। तोशु पूछता है कि क्या पार्टी ख़त्म हो गई है। अनुज का कहना है कि पार्टी अभी भी जारी है। वनराज और अनुज अपने पार्टनर के साथ जब कोई बात बिगाड़ जाए.. गाने पर डांस करते हैं। पूरा परिवार उनके साथ शामिल होता है और डांस करता है. अनुपमा ने काव्या के तनाव को नोटिस किया। काव्या उसे एक तरफ ले जाती है और अनुपमा से कहती है कि वह उससे कुछ कहना चाहती है। अनुपमा उसे आगे बढ़ने के लिए कहती है। काव्या कहती है कि हर कोई बहुत खुश है, खासकर वी जो खुशी से पागल हो गई है और अपने बच्चे के आने से पहले ही उससे बहुत जुड़ी हुई है; लीला बहुत प्यारी हो गई है और वी ने पहले ही बच्चे के नाम आदि में निवेश शुरू कर दिया है। अनुपमा पूछती है कि जब सब कुछ सही है, तो समस्या क्या है। काव्या कहती है कि उसे डर है कि अगर कोई रहस्य सामने आया तो सब कुछ नष्ट हो जाएगा; वह इसे छुपाने में असमर्थ है क्योंकि उसका अपराधबोध उसे अंदर ही अंदर खा रहा है। अनुपमा उससे यह बताने के लिए कहती है कि यह क्या है।
काव्या कहती है कि उसका बच्चा वी का नहीं है। अनुपमा हैरान रह जाती है। काव्या दोहराती है। अनुपमा उसे एक कमरे में ले जाती है और पूछती है कि मिस्टर शाह नहीं तो उसके बच्चे का पिता अनिरुद्ध कौन है? काव्या ने हाँ में सिर हिलाया। वनराज परिवार को बताता है कि यह उसके जीवन का सबसे खूबसूरत दिन है। अनुज पूछता है तो वह क्यों नाच रहा है। वनराज मजाक में कहता है कि अनुज बूढ़ा हो गया होगा, लेकिन वह नहीं क्योंकि वह पिता बन रहा है। वह पानी पीने जाता है. अनुज अनुपमा की तलाश में जाता है और वनराज काव्या की तलाश में। काव्या अनुपमा से कहती है कि वह उस पर अपने रहस्य का बोझ नहीं डालना चाहती थी, लेकिन वह अपने रहस्य केवल उसके साथ साझा करने में सहज महसूस करती है; उसे इसके लिए वास्तव में खेद है। अनुपमा कहती है कि उसे अपने कृत्य और रहस्य उजागर न करने के लिए खेद होना चाहिए। वह पूछती है कि यह कैसे हुआ जबकि अनिरुद्ध सिर्फ उसका दोस्त था। काव्या कहती है कि यह अभी हुआ।
वनराज और अनुज मिलकर अनुपमा और काव्या को खोजते हैं और सोचते हैं कि काव्या को कमजोरी महसूस हुई होगी और अनुपमा उसे एक कमरे में ले गई होगी। सीए उन्हें रोकते हैं और उनके साथ सेल्फी लेते हैं। काव्या कहती है कि वह एक पल के लिए कमजोर हो गई थी। अनुपमा कहती है कि उसके एक कमजोर पल की सजा पूरे परिवार को भुगतनी पड़ेगी; अगर उसे अपने रिश्ते से दिक्कत है तो उसे रिश्ता तोड़ देना चाहिए और फिर जो करना हो वो करना चाहिए; वह बेवफाई आदि के लिए कोई बहाना नहीं दे सकती। काव्या ने अपने कृत्य को सही ठहराते हुए कहा कि यह न केवल उसकी गलती है, बल्कि वनराज और परिवार की भी गलती है क्योंकि वी कभी उससे ठीक से बात नहीं करता था और लीला हमेशा उसे ताने देती थी; उसने वी के लिए बहुत त्याग किया और उसके परिवार के लिए बदलाव किया, लेकिन उन्होंने कभी भी उसके प्रयास की सराहना नहीं की; वह वी से बेहद प्यार करती है, लेकिन बदले में उसे कभी प्यार नहीं मिला। वह याद दिलाती है कि कैसे वनराज 8 साल तक अफेयर के बाद उससे शादी नहीं करना चाहता था और उसने कभी उसे महत्व नहीं दिया; उसने घर छोड़ दिया और होटलों में रहने लगी, लेकिन वी और उसके परिवार ने कभी उसे ढूंढने की कोशिश नहीं की; वह एक मॉडलिंग असाइनमेंट के लिए मुंबई गई थी जब वहां उसकी मुलाकात अनिरुद्ध से हुई और अपने कमजोर पलों आदि के दौरान उसने हार मान ली।
वनराज अनुज को सीए के साथ रहने के लिए कहता है जब वह जाकर काव्या का हालचाल लेता है। वह सीढ़ियों पर फिसल जाता है और उसका पैर फिसल जाता है। अनुज मजाक में कहता है कि वह सचमुच बूढ़ा हो गया है और वह उसकी मदद करता है। वनराज कहता है कि वह काव्या के लिए चिंतित है और सबसे पहले उसे देखना चाहता है। काव्या खुद को सही ठहराती रहती है।
अगले भाग में: काव्या को यह सुनकर वनराज टूट जाता है कि उसका बच्चा अनिरुद्ध का है, उसका नहीं। ब्रखा अनिरुद्ध के नाजायज बेटे को स्वीकार करने से इंकार कर देती है और अनुपमा से पूछती है कि अगर लड़का अनुज का नाजायज बच्चा होता तो क्या उसने उसे घर पर रहने दिया होता।
