Adhik angrily goes to his room. Pakhi tells her that getting angry and threatening Romil will not solve the problem. Adhik shouts at him to stop on the way. Pakhi says that she should not interfere between her sister and BIL and let them solve their problems on their own. Anupama tells Anuj that she does not understand how all this happened. Anuj says that around 17-18 years ago, Ankush used to come to Delhi from America, there were problems between Barkha and Ankush and Barkha was actually living separately and she said that she only wanted Ankush’s name and nothing else, Then Ankush met the woman and the affair started. Anupama asks if that lady knew that Ankush is married. Anuj says she knew and said that she needs his company, not Naam. Anupama asks what happened now. Anuj says her priorities must have changed and she must have thought that she cannot handle son’s responsibility as a mother and so she put her son’s responsibility on the curb and went abroad. Anupama says what kind of people they are, they don’t give importance to marriage, society, family etc.
Pakhi offers water to Adhik, but he refuses. Pakhi asks why is he getting so angry lately, he physically abused her and she can get him arrested in domestic violence case. Adhik asks why doesn’t she do that. Pakhi says because she was in the same condition he was in. Anupama tells Anuj that she has a problem with such relationships and that if they cannot be faithful, they should end the relationship; Hearing Ankush’s explanation, he feels sorry for Barkha, if Barkha had done this, would Ankush have accepted Barkha, this affects the whole family and innocent Romil also gets burnt. Vanraj says this is not his child. Anupama says baby needs care. Vanraj says he cannot take care of anyone’s child, he is not that great; He asks not to inform about it to Anuj or anyone else he will become a living joke, etc. He continues to express his fear.

अधिक गुस्से में अपने कमरे में चला जाता है। पाखी उससे कहती है कि गुस्सा करने और रोमिल को धमकी देने से समस्या का समाधान नहीं होगा। अधिक उसे रास्ते पर रुकने के लिए चिल्लाता है। पाखी कहती है कि उसे अपनी बहन और बीआईएल के बीच हस्तक्षेप नहीं करना चाहिए और उन्हें अपनी समस्या खुद सुलझाने देनी चाहिए। अनुपमा अनुज से कहती है कि उसे समझ नहीं आ रहा कि ये सब कैसे हो गया. अनुज का कहना है कि लगभग 17-18 साल पहले, अंकुश अमेरिका से दिल्ली आया करता था, बरखा और अंकुश के बीच समस्याएं थीं और बरखा वास्तव में अलग रह रही थी और उसने कहा कि उसे केवल अंकुश का नाम चाहिए और उससे कुछ नहीं, तभी अंकुश की मुलाकात हुई महिला और शुरू हुआ अफेयर. अनुपमा पूछती है कि क्या उस महिला को पता था कि अंकुश शादीशुदा है। अनुज का कहना है कि वह जानती थी और उसने कहा था कि उसे नाम की नहीं बल्कि उसके साथ की जरूरत है। अनुपमा पूछती है कि अब क्या हुआ। अनुज का कहना है कि उसकी प्राथमिकताएँ बदल गई होंगी और उसने सोचा होगा कि वह एक माँ के रूप में बेटे की ज़िम्मेदारी नहीं संभाल सकती और इसलिए उसने अपने बेटे की ज़िम्मेदारी अंकुश पर डाल दी और विदेश चली गई। अनुपमा कहती है कि वे किस तरह के लोग हैं, वे शादी, समाज, परिवार आदि को महत्व नहीं देते हैं।
पाखी अधिक को पानी देती है, लेकिन वह मना कर देता है। पाखी पूछती है कि वह हाल ही में इतना गुस्सा क्यों हो रहा है, उसने उसका शारीरिक शोषण किया और वह उसे घरेलू हिंसा मामले में गिरफ्तार करवा सकती है। अधिक पूछता है कि वह ऐसा क्यों नहीं करती। पाखी कहती है क्योंकि वह उसी स्थिति में थी जिसमें वह था। अनुपमा अनुज से कहती है कि उसे ऐसे रिश्तों से परेशानी है और अगर वे वफादार नहीं हो सकते, तो उन्हें रिश्ता तोड़ देना चाहिए; अंकुश की सफाई सुनकर उसे बरखा पर दया आ गई, अगर बरखा ने ऐसा किया होता तो क्या अंकुश बरखा को स्वीकार करता, इससे पूरा परिवार प्रभावित होता है और मासूम रोमिल भी झुलस जाता है। पाखी अधिक से कहती है कि वह घरेलू हिंसा की शिकार होने के बाद भी उनकी शादी को एक और मौका देने के लिए तैयार है क्योंकि उसने पहले भी जीवन में कई गलतियाँ की हैं। अनुपमा अनुज से कहती है कि जब भरोसा टूट जाता है तो उसे जीवन में दोबारा हासिल नहीं किया जा सकता और डर हमेशा बना रहता है।
अनुज कहता है कि उसे लगता है कि वह बोलने से ज्यादा कुछ बताना चाहती है। अनुपमा को काव्या की बेवफाई याद आती है और सोचती है कि वह उसे इसके बारे में नहीं बता सकती क्योंकि वह काव्या का भरोसा नहीं तोड़ सकती। काव्या अधिक से कहती है कि वह अब भी उससे प्यार करती है और उसे नीचा दिखाने के लिए नहीं बल्कि उसके साथ रहने और अपने रिश्ते को पुनर्जीवित करने के लिए ऑफिस में शामिल हुई है। वह उससे अनुरोध करती है कि उसे भी उनके रिश्ते को पुनर्जीवित करने का प्रयास करना चाहिए। अधिक वहां से चला जाता है. अनुपमा को रोमिल के लिए दुख होता है जो चुपचाप सारा नाटक देख रहा था और कहती है कि अंकुश वास्तव में गलत है। अनुज कहता है कि वह सहमत है कि अंकुश गलत है, लेकिन वे दूसरे के जीवन में हस्तक्षेप नहीं कर सकते। अनुपमा हाँ में सिर हिलाती है और कहती है कि वह जाकर बबली को देखेगी। अनुज उसे आराम करने के लिए कहता है और सीए की जांच करने जाता है।

वनराज रात में उससे मिलने के लिए माफी मांगता है और कहता है कि वह जानता है कि उसके घर पर भी समस्याएं हैं। अनुपमा कहती है कि यह ठीक है क्योंकि इस स्थिति में बात करने के लिए किसी की जरूरत होती है, वह पूछती है कि वह उसके जीवन साथी से बात क्यों नहीं करती। वनराज कहता है कि वह काव्या का नाम नहीं सुनना चाहता क्योंकि उसका खून खौल रहा है। अनुपमा कहती है कि जब भी उसके अपनी पत्नी के साथ अच्छे संबंध होते हैं, तो वह नहीं चाहता कि कोई उनके बीच हस्तक्षेप करे और जब उसे कोई समस्या होती है, तो वह चाहता है कि अन्य लोग इसमें शामिल हों। वनराज पूछता है कि क्या उसने किंजल से भी यही कहा था। अनुपमा कहती है कि उसके और किंजल के बीच अंतर है। वनज ने अपनी पिछली गलतियों के कारण पूछा? वह पूछता है कि उसने उसके विश्वासघात को कैसे सहन किया और बताया कि काव्या के विश्वासघात से वह कैसा महसूस कर रहा है। अनुपमा कहती है कि वह इस घटना को दोबारा याद नहीं करना चाहती। वनराज का कहना है कि उसने जो बोया है वही काट रहा है और अब उसे एहसास हुआ कि उसने क्या महसूस किया होगा और जारी रखा। अनुपमा कहती है कि वह उसका दर्द समझ सकती है, काव्या गलत है, लेकिन वह बच्चे को सजा नहीं दे सकता। वनराज का कहना है कि यह उसका बच्चा नहीं है। अनुपमा कहती है कि बच्चे को देखभाल की ज़रूरत है। वनराज का कहना है कि वह किसी के बच्चे की देखभाल नहीं कर सकता, वह इतना महान नहीं है; वह अनुज या किसी को भी इसके बारे में सूचित न करने के लिए कहता है अन्यथा वह एक जीवंत मजाक बन जाएगा, आदि। वह अपना डर व्यक्त करना जारी रखता है।
