grand finale of Bigg Boss OTT season 2 was an incredible event, as Elvish Yadav emerged triumphant, etching his name in history as the first wildcard entrant to take home the prestigious Bigg Boss OTT trophy. Elvish spoke candidly about his path, his friendship with Abhishek Malhan, and his complex connection of adoration and dispute with the show’s presenter, Salman Khan.

Bigg Boss OTT season 2 came to an end with a bang. “My mother holds a special place in my heart,” Elvish said of his passionate reunion with his mother. “My emotions were stirred in the house primarily due to thoughts of her.” During family week, my father appeared on the show, and for the finale, my mother also appeared, which was a really emotional occasion for me. Whether I had won or not, the reunion was a source of great joy for both of us after such a lengthy absence.”
Back in 2020, Elvish’s creative work featured films satirizing Bollywood celebrity Salman Khan, who also happened to be the show’s host.
Regarding his relationship with Salman Khan, Elvish stated, “The roast videos I made about Salman Khan were created three years ago in 2020.” Since then, I’ve seen significant personal growth, and my material has developed as well. I targeted a variety of people, not only Salman Khan. My attitude toward Salman sir has also shifted, since he corrected my mistakes during ‘weekend ka vaar’ chats like an older brother. He shared insightful information while displaying his capacity to let go of old occurrences, which I much appreciated.”
Elvish recalled how Salman Khan consoled him before the results were announced when he was seized with nervousness. “He took my hand in his and felt my beating heartbeat. He told me to stay calm, reassuring me that everything would be alright, and encouraging me to keep my cool.”
Elvish expressed confidence in the strength of his connection with first runner-up Abhishek Malhan, saying, “Our friendship may have experienced shifts, but our brotherhood has only grown stronger.” Finally, our bond has become stronger.”
When asked about his feelings for Pooja Bhatt, Elvish remarked, “Pooja Bhatt possesses an ageless charm.” I openly remarked that if our ages were the same, I would have contacted her.”
He also expressed his affection for his favorite actress, Alia Bhatt, saying, “Alia Bhatt remains my eternal admiration.” Her presence was dearly missed. In truth, I hadn’t simply missed her; I hadn’t even had the opportunity to meet her. I had hung her picture in my house and would give it high-fives on a daily basis.”
