Then he reads the next message and sadly says it is from Shantanu. The family consoled him. Isha watches this from a distance with Savi and wonders why Shantanu is not present for his son’s birthday.
Ishaan recalls that Shantanu told him that if he misses his birthday, he should realize that he is gone from the world. Shantanu comes in with the cake and singing happy birthday. Ishaan says he is returning after a month and he should not go like this. Shantanu hugs her and says he won’t do that. Yashwant says he misses her a lot. Shantanu touched his feet.
Surekha says it will be difficult for one mouth to observe a fast of silence. Yashwant jokingly said that Surekha would break her silence within a day and would also break the fast of others. Isha asks Savi if she knew about the party and brought her here. Savi nodded yes.

ईशान स्क्रीन पर जन्मदिन की शुभकामनाएं पढ़ता है और कहता है कि केवल सुरेखा ही उसे इस तरह से शुभकामनाएं देती है। वह सुरेखा को गले लगाता है और धन्यवाद देता है। वह अगला संदेश पढ़ता है और कहता है कि यह डफ़र दूर्वा है। फिर वह अगला संदेश पढ़ता है और दुखी होकर कहता है कि यह शांतनु का है।
परिवार ने उसे सांत्वना दी. ईशा इसे सवि के साथ दूर से देखकर सोचती है कि शांतनु अपने बेटे के जन्मदिन के लिए उपस्थित क्यों नहीं है। ईशान को याद आता है कि शांतनु ने उससे कहा था कि अगर वह अपना जन्मदिन मिस करता है, तो उसे एहसास होना चाहिए कि वह दुनिया से चला गया है। शांतनु केक लेकर हैप्पी बर्थडे गाते हुए अंदर आते हैं। ईशान का कहना है कि वह एक महीने बाद लौट रहा है और उसे ऐसे नहीं जाना चाहिए। शांतनु ने उसे गले लगाया और कहा कि वह ऐसा नहीं करेगा। यशवंत कहते हैं कि उन्हें उनकी बहुत याद आती है। शांतनु ने उनके पैर छुए.
