Imlie gets ready to perform at once and covers her head. Her friend says they are bar girls and shouldn’t cover their heads. Another friend asks if she even prays to God for this disgusting act. Imlie says why not because every work is divine. She serves Janmashtami Prasad to her friends.
Friends praise that she cooks such good food, she should become a chef in a big hotel. Imlie says she will do it soon. She says that she wants to earn a lot of money for Ashu’s treatment and once he gets well, she will leave this bar job. The bar owner informs Imlie that she is going to be late for her performance because a rich man’s assistant told her that his boss is waiting for her performance. Imlie says that she treats all her customers equal.
Agastya gets irritated by the bar girls’ behavior and tries to leave. He stops after hearing Imlie singing the song Yeh Hai Reshmi Zulfon Ka Andhera.. Then he tries to get out of the way. Imlie asks if she didn’t like her song, leaving it mid is an insult to art and artist. Agastya throws money on her face and asks her to pick each note carefully as she works for money here and she is cheap and fallen like these fallen notes.
Imlie says that she has insulted both Mother Saraswati and Mother Lakshmi. Agastya says he insulted him. Imlie says he should be ashamed of his poor thinking and keeps cursing him for insulting art and women. Agastya says that cheap girls like her only know how to talk emotionally and get attention. Imlie says they hide their faces to protect cheap people like them, their thinking is so cheap, etc. Agastya angrily moves towards her. His manager stops him and takes him away from there.
Imlie returns to her area in Bar’s car. The neighbor taunts that her husband is a steno in a government office and is never taken to work in a car, but a poor girl is always picked up and dropped by car. Imlie gives her a stern reply and goes home counting the money and thinks that she will have to collect the money soon for Ashu’s treatment. Pallo snatches the money from him and says that he has to pay rent to stay here. Imlie snatches the money back and says that she cooks food and does household work for her and if she has any problem, she will leave her house with Ashu. Pallo says she has taken care of him since childhood and now wants to take advantage of it, she must dance in the bar and cannot leave from there until she makes him rich.
Imlie goes to Ashu. Ashu calls her imma. Imlie asks her to call her aunty. Ashu keeps calling her emma. Imlie pampers her and recalls Kairi’s death after giving birth to Ashu. She gets emotional and hopes that he will protect Ashu. A man comes to his room. Imlie gets scared but then calms down and says mother/uncle has scared her. She asks if he met the doctor. Mother says yes, doctor told that there is no improvement in Ashu’s condition and he needs surgery within 6 months.
Imlie says she will arrange the money soon. Mom says she works too hard and puts pressure on herself, she doesn’t like it. He shows his concern for her and is angry at Pallu for troubling him, he hopes that Pallu will leave them soon. Imlie asks her to stop drinking so much alcohol and spoiling her health. Mother tells him to stop working in the bar and become a chef in some restaurant because someday he may have to face an evil person. Imlie remembers Agastya’s misbehavior today.
Precap: Pallo wakes up Imlie by throwing water on her and orders her to clean the house till she returns from the market. Agastya’s grandmother wishes him happy birthday and asks Alka to bless Agastya. Alka says she is her step mother and will not give her blessings.

इमली एक बार में प्रदर्शन के लिए तैयार हो जाती है और अपना सिर ढक लेती है। उसकी सहेली का कहना है कि वे बार गर्ल्स हैं और उन्हें अपना सिर नहीं ढंकना चाहिए। एक अन्य मित्र पूछती है कि क्या वह इस घिनौने काम के लिए भी भगवान से प्रार्थना करती है। इमली कहती है क्यों नहीं क्योंकि हर काम दिव्य है। वह अपने दोस्तों को जन्माष्टमी का प्रसाद खिलाती हैं।
दोस्त तारीफ करते हैं कि यह इतना अच्छा खाना बनाती है, इसे तो किसी बड़े होटल में शेफ बनना चाहिए। इमली कहती है कि वह जल्द ही ऐसा करेगी। वह कहती है कि वह आशु के इलाज के लिए ढेर सारा पैसा कमाना चाहती है और एक बार जब वह ठीक हो जाएगा तो वह बार की यह नौकरी छोड़ देगी। बार मालिक ने इमली को सूचित किया कि उसे अपने प्रदर्शन के लिए देर हो रही है क्योंकि एक अमीर आदमी के सहायक ने बताया कि उसका बॉस उसके प्रदर्शन का इंतजार कर रहा है। इमली का कहना है कि वह अपने सभी ग्राहकों को एक समान मानती है।
अगस्त्य बार गर्ल्स के व्यवहार से चिढ़ जाता है और वहां से जाने की कोशिश करता है। वह इमली को ये है रेशमी जुल्फों का अंधेरा.. गाना गाते हुए सुनकर रुक जाता है। फिर वह बीच रास्ते से निकलने की कोशिश करता है। इमली पूछती है कि क्या उसे उसका गाना पसंद नहीं आया, बीच में छोड़ना कला और कलाकार का अपमान है। अगस्त्य उसके चेहरे पर पैसे फेंकता है और उसे प्रत्येक नोट को ध्यान से उठाने के लिए कहता है क्योंकि वह यहां पैसे के लिए काम करती है और वह इन गिरे हुए नोटों की तरह सस्ता और गिरा हुआ है। इमली का कहना है कि उन्होंने मां सरस्वती और मां लक्ष्मी दोनों का अपमान किया है।

इमली बार की कार में अपने इलाके में लौटती है। पड़ोसी ताना मारता है कि उसका पति एक सरकारी कार्यालय में स्टेनो है और उसे कभी कार में काम पर नहीं ले जाया जाता, लेकिन एक घटिया लड़की को हमेशा कार से उठाया और छोड़ा जाता है। इमली उसे कड़ा जवाब देती है और पैसे गिनते हुए घर चली जाती है और सोचती है कि उसे आशु के इलाज के लिए जल्द ही पैसे इकट्ठा करने होंगे। पल्लो ने उससे पैसे छीन लिए और कहा कि उसे यहां रहने के लिए किराया देना होगा।
इमली ने पैसे वापस छीन लिए और कहा कि वह उसके लिए खाना बनाती है और घर का काम करती है और अगर उसे कोई समस्या है, तो वह आशु के साथ अपना घर छोड़ देगी। पल्लो का कहना है कि उसने बचपन से ही उसकी देखभाल की है और अब इसका लाभ उठाना चाहती है, उसे बार में नृत्य करना चाहिए और जब तक वह उसे अमीर नहीं बना देती, तब तक वह वहां से नहीं जा सकती।
इमली आशु के पास जाती है। आशु उसे इम्मा कहता है। इमली उससे उसे मासी कहने के लिए कहती है। आशु उसे इम्मा कहता रहता है। इमली उसे लाड़-प्यार करती है और आशु को जन्म देने के बाद कैरी की मृत्यु को याद करती है। वह भावुक हो जाती है और आशा करती है कि वह आशु की रक्षा करेगी। एक आदमी उसके कमरे में आता है। इमली डर जाती है लेकिन फिर शांत हो जाती है और कहती है कि माँ/चाचा ने उसे डरा दिया है। वह पूछती है कि क्या वह डॉक्टर से मिला था। माँ कहती हैं हाँ, डॉक्टर ने बताया कि आशु की हालत में कोई सुधार नहीं है और उसे 6 महीने के भीतर सर्जरी की ज़रूरत है।
इमली कहती है कि वह जल्द ही पैसे की व्यवस्था करेगी। माँ कहती है कि वह बहुत मेहनत करती है और खुद पर दबाव डालती है, उसे यह पसंद नहीं है। वह उसके लिए अपनी चिंता दिखाता है और उसे परेशान करने के लिए पल्लो पर गुस्सा करता है, उसे उम्मीद है कि पल्लू जल्द ही उन्हें छोड़ देगा। इमली उसे इतनी शराब पीने और अपना स्वास्थ्य खराब करने से रोकने के लिए कहती है। माँ ने उसे बार में काम करना बंद करने और किसी रेस्तरां में शेफ बनने के लिए कहा क्योंकि किसी दिन उसे एक दुष्ट व्यक्ति का सामना करना पड़ सकता है। इमली को आज अगस्त्य का दुर्व्यवहार याद आता है।
