Rana drops Carrie off to school. A goon disguised as a peon stops them at the gate and tells them that they cannot enter from here. Imlie says it is Kairi’s first day in school. The family says to let Carrie go with the other students. They all say goodbye to Carrie. The goon makes the students queue up to wear watches fitted with a bomb chip.
Imlie thinks she has seen the man. She walks in and tells Carrie that she forgot her ID card. and gives it to him. Then she tells the goon peon that she has seen him somewhere before. Gwen says that she must have seen a poor and broken man like him because all poor and broken people look alike. Rudra encourages her not to lose hope and keep working hard till success is achieved.
Back home, Atharv panics thinking how Carrie will be managing school alone. Imlie asks her to take rest and asks how did she manage when Carrie went to a camp for 5 days, she should let Carrie learn to manage things on her own. The family connects and Devika says that she is trying to teach a person who has no brain. Others laugh. Atharv says it is 2 in the afternoon. And Carrie must have missed school. Imlie quickly picks up her bag and tries to walk out scolding him for keeping her busy with the talks. The family laughs more and says it is 12:30 and Atharv pulls her leg.
Imlie says that Atharv troubled her with his jokes. Atharv says that he felt the same when Imlie went away from him. The family pulled his leg forward. Ginny asks them to repeat their dialogue. Atharv and Imlie reach the school and see the teacher teaching Carrie and other students to dance on the song Pal Pal Pal.. The peon tied watches with bomb chips on the wrists of all the students. Carrie shows her watch to her parents and thanks the peon. The peon hopes that he will not get into trouble and asks Carrie to wear it during the Independence Day celebrations.
