Rumors are a part of the entertainment industry, and performers have learnt to handle them. Rumors, on the other hand, can occasionally be harmful. Megha Chakraborty, well known for her part in “Imlie,” said in a recent interview how a rumor about her quitting the show for another project affected her.
“I did receive an offer to audition for an upcoming show on a different channel,” Megha confessed. Because my plot in ‘Imlie’ was coming to an end owing to the program taking a jump, I decided to go for the audition.”
“There were scheduling conflicts, and I couldn’t proceed with the new show,” she revealed further. However, I was somewhat surprised by how quickly the story spread. People speculated that I was quitting ‘Imlie’ to start the new program, but none of this was true. Auditioning is a necessary element of our job. I had to physically remove myself from my phone for a day because I was swamped with calls from concerned citizens.”
Megha’s voyage in “Imlie” is coming to an end, and she is pleased with her experience. “It was an incredible journey.” In the program, I played a variety of demanding roles and participated in several action sequences. When the tunes by Sumbul Touqeer and Fahmaan Khan ended, I felt immense pressure to finish the event. I wasn’t sure how we’d proceed, but everything slipped into place gradually, and the jump was well-received by the audience. The program is about to take another step forward, and my tale is drawing to a close. “I’m excited to get back to work after a brief hiatus,” Megha said.
