After knowing that Samar has signed a contract with Malti Devi/MD, the Shah family gets furious and curses him. Kinjal says MD must have blackmailed and got the contract signed. Toshu questions Samar that how could he sign the contract with mummy’s enemy, Anupama had high hopes from him, only Toshu and Pakhi can do mistakes, not Samar etc. Dimpy stops him and says that Samar is not used to sitting idle and living on his wife, an earner like Toshu will become a loser like a loafer at home. यह जानने के बाद कि समर ने मालती देवी/एमडी के साथ एक अनुबंध पर हस्ताक्षर किया है, शाह परिवार क्रोधित हो जाता है और उसे जमकर कोसता है। किंजल का कहना है कि एमडी ने ब्लैकमेल किया होगा और अनुबंध पर हस्ताक्षर करवाए होंगे। तोशु ने समर से सवाल किया कि वह मम्मी के दुश्मन के साथ अनुबंध पर हस्ताक्षर कैसे कर सकता है, अनुपमा को उससे बहुत उम्मीदें थीं, केवल तोशु और पाखी ही गलतियाँ कर सकते हैं, समर आदि नहीं। डिम्पी उसे रोकती है और कहती है कि समर को बेकार बैठने और अपनी पत्नी के भरोसे जीने की आदत नहीं है तोषू की तरह कमाई करने वाला, घर पर इधर-उधर भटकने वाले की तरह हारा हुआ व्यक्ति बन जाएगा। यह सुनकर किंजल क्रोधित हो जाती है और डिंपी को अपना मुंह बंद रखने, बड़ों का अनादर न करने और भाइयों के बीच हस्तक्षेप न करने की चेतावनी देती है। लीला कहती है कि किसी को भी डिंपी से बात नहीं करनी चाहिए वरना वे अपना शिष्टाचार भूल जाएंगे। किंजल का कहना है कि तोशु सही है या गलत, वह डिंपी से बड़ा है और उसे उसका अपमान करने का कोई अधिकार नहीं है। लीला का कहना है कि डिंपी उसकी बड़ी बीआईएल का अपमान कर रही है और कल उसकी एफआईएल का अपमान करेगी। काव्या कहती है कि वह बेरोजगार होने की हताशा को समझ सकती है, लेकिन दुश्मन से हाथ नहीं मिलाने की।
