Today’s 22nd October 2023 episode of ‘Gum Hai Kisi Ke Pyaar Mein’ Ishaan shows Bhosle institute photo and says he is married to his college and work and doesn’t want to marry any girl. Surekha says she thought that the kids will get married and there will be happiness in the house, neither Ishaan nor Durva want to get married. Ishaan says Durva is still immature and does stupid things regularly.
Durva comes in and says he can’t always blame her as Savi complained against him. Ishaan tells the family how Savi had insulted Savi and Shukla’s mother and that he and his friends had burnt the Ganpati pandal. The family is shocked to hear this. Durva says he is just blindly trusting Savi who has no proof against him and is accusing him. Nishi confronts Durva and says that she doesn’t know about Ishaan, but she is sure that he and his friends might have burnt the Ganpati pandal. Asmita says that Durva has insulted her parents with his action.
Durva says that Ishaan has changed after Savi came into his life and he just follows her orders. She tells Surekha that if she is a burden to them then she should marry her. She goes to her room crying. Surekha says Durva was right that Ishaan is going crazy after Savi and is insulting the family members by taking Savi’s side. Ishaan asks why she went to meet Savi in his hostel room.

Everyone is surprised. Ishaan confronts him. She explains her idea that she organized women’s stalls in the pandal to show how women are self-reliant and confident, she wanted to pay respect to Shukla’s mother and prove her point. Ishaan easily accepts his idea and requests him to respect Shukla’s Amma. He asks Surekha if she has any problem with it. Surekha agrees without any option. The minister praised Yashwant for bringing positive changes in the college. Ishaan and Savi hold Shukla’s Amma’s hand and take her to the stage where she performs Ghat Sthapana. Shantanu feels happy and hopes that Isha has come here to see the great work of his student and son.
