Revathi gives prasad to the family and thanks God that Imlie has now got a job and can take good care of herself and Kairi. Imlie comes in and says they didn’t give her that chance. Devika asks him to come inside as she is coming to meet him after a long time. Imlie says that if she comes in she will feel lonely as they all think she is worthless and so she made a deal with Mr. Chopra to give her a job in exchange for a business deal with D&R Rana Company. Rudra says that Chopra is his old friend and he just talked to him casually. Imlie says she overheard Rudra and Chopra’s conversation. Keya says she should be grateful to Rudra for getting the job, she herself could not get the job due to her incompetence, even last time Rudra made her the COO of his company without interviewing her, etc. Imlie says that Rana chose her over his 2 sons as he found her capable and she agreed to help him, but this time she feels that she is incompetent and cannot take care of herself and Carrie.
Atharv requests her to accept this job for the sake of Carrie and says that she is doing the same mistake which she did 5 years ago. Sharma approaches Imlie and tells her to cooperate with him if she wants to fulfill his wishes and daily needs. Imlie scolds him for his poor thinking and warns that she will expose him if he ever tries to come near her. Sharma decides to punish Imlie for rejecting his words.
Imlie then prepares the doll and tries to make Kairi happy by imitating the doll. Carrie says she doesn’t need those ugly dolls and throws them away. She demands to return to Rana’s house as her dolls and friends are there. Imlie sternly refuses and gets angry. Carrie walks away crying. Atharv notices this. Carrie’s friends come to her with dolls and ask if they are hers. She says no. They say that they are very beautiful and that they are God’s gift. Carrie takes back her dolls and plays with them. Imlie gets happy seeing this. Atharv smiles from a distance. Imlie then goes to him and emotionally hugs him tightly. The song Jo Tum Na Ho.. is playing in the background. In the next part: Sharma fixes the pictures of Imlie and Atharv hugging in the society. The women of the society question Imlie’s character and demand her to leave the society. अथर्व उससे कैरी की खातिर यह नौकरी स्वीकार करने का अनुरोध करता है और कहता है कि वह वही गलती कर रही है जो उसने 5 साल पहले की थी। इमली का कहना है कि वह अपनी गलती की तुलना उसके फैसले से नहीं कर सकता, उसने कैरी के भविष्य के बारे में सोचे बिना उससे कुछ घंटे की कैरी चुरा ली थी, वह कैरी को उसकी तरह मजबूत और आत्मनिर्भर बनना सिखा रही है। वह उसे उसकी गलतियों के लिए कोसती रहती है और वहां से चली जाती है। वह सोसायटी पहुंचती है और देखती है कि कैरी के दोस्त कैरी के साथ अपनी गुड़िया साझा करने से इनकार कर रहे हैं और यह कहकर उसका अपमान कर रहे हैं कि उसकी मां गरीब है और उसके पिता उसके साथ नहीं रहते हैं। शर्मा इमली के पास जाता है और उससे कहता है कि अगर वह अपनी इच्छाओं और दैनिक जरूरतों को पूरा करना चाहती है तो वह उसके साथ सहयोग करे। इमली उसे उसकी घटिया सोच के लिए डांटती है और चेतावनी देती है कि अगर उसने कभी उसके पास आने की कोशिश की तो वह उसे बेनकाब कर देगी। शर्मा ने उसकी बातों को अस्वीकार करने के लिए इमली को दंडित करने का निश्चय किया।
फिर इमली गुड़िया तैयार करती है और गुड़िया की नकल करके कैरी को खुश करने की कोशिश करती है। कैरी कहती है कि उसे उन बदसूरत गुड़ियों की ज़रूरत नहीं है और वह उन्हें फेंक देती है। वह राणा के घर लौटने की मांग करती है क्योंकि वहां उसकी गुड़िया और दोस्त हैं। इमली सख्ती से मना कर देती है और क्रोधित हो जाती है। कैरी रोते हुए चली जाती है। अथर्व ने यह नोटिस किया। कैरी के दोस्त गुड़िया लेकर उसके पास आते हैं और पूछते हैं कि क्या ये गुड़िया उसकी हैं। वह कहती है नहीं. वे कहते हैं कि वे बहुत सुंदर हैं और उनके लिए भगवान का उपहार है। कैरी अपनी गुड़िया वापस ले जाती है और उनके साथ खेलती है। यह देखकर इमली को खुशी होती है। अथर्व दूर से मुस्कुराता है। इमली फिर उसके पास जाती है और भावनात्मक रूप से उसे कसकर गले लगा लेती है। बैकग्राउंड में जो तुम ना हो.. गाना बज रहा है। शर्मा उनकी तस्वीरें क्लिक करता है और इमली को बदनाम करने का फैसला करता है। कुछ देर बाद इमली को होश आ जाता है। अथर्व कहता है कि अगर वह किसी खूबसूरत आदमी को गले लगाती है तो यह ठीक है। इमली और उसकी बातचीत जारी है…
अगले भाग में: शर्मा ने सोसायटी में इमली और अथर्व की गले लगने वाली तस्वीरें ठीक कीं। समाज की महिलाएं इमली के चरित्र पर सवाल उठाती हैं और उससे समाज छोड़ने की मांग करती हैं। समाज कहता है कि वे गलत हैं, अथर्व वह है.. वे कहते हैं कि रात में किसी अनजान आदमी को गले लगाने के बाद वह क्या कहेगी। अथर्व प्रवेश करता है और कहता है कि वह सच बताएगी।
