Imlie searches for Carrie and sees her sitting in a corner crying wearing Atharv’s jacket. Imlie asks what is she doing here. Carrie says she can’t sleep without Monkey Pa, so can she take his clothes with her. Imlie gets emotional. Her inner voice emerges and says she is playing a game and wonders if she will win over Atharv, Imlie herself depriving her parents and Kairi depriving her parents , even if both are alive, she is making the same mistake that Atharva did. 5 years. Keya wanders around her room anxiously. Akash asks her to take rest. Keya says they are resting here while the family wants to keep Imlie and Kairi at home. Akash says they are adopting a child. Keya says the adoption agencies haven’t replied to them yet, soon the family will take away their rights and make Imlie and Kairi the legal heirs. Akash asks her not to worry as he has planned something.
Atharv’s condition is continuously deteriorating. The doctor examines him and informs the family that Atharv must be having internal bleeding, so they should take him to the hospital soon. Imlie comes to Carrie and tells Atharv that her and Carrie’s stubbornness is over, now they are not going anywhere. Atharv’s condition has improved. Doctor says it is magic, Atharv is recovering. Rudra says Imlie’s presence is healing Atharv. The doctor leaves asking Rudra to call him if necessary. Shivani leaves Imlie and Carrie with Atharv and takes Devika from there. Carrie tells Monkey Pa that Mummy said they will be with her, that she loves her Monkey Pa and Mumma. Imlie says let her papa rest and take her from there.
Keya tells Akash that her family always ruins her mental peace, they convince Imlie to stay back. She says that she has replaced Atharv’s nurse with a struggling actress and instructs her to kill Atharv. Akash was happy to hear this. Imlie realizes that she has forgotten to give the medicines to the nurse and returns to Atharv’s room. She sees the nurse injecting Atharv and stops her. She asks which injection did she give to Atharv while the medicines are still with her. Nurse says it is a vitamin injection. Imlie says doctor didn’t inform her about prescribing any multivitamin injection. She calls the doctor and asks if he has given any injection to Atharv. Doctor says he didn’t write in the prescription but sent one with other medicines and informed her family. The nurse remembers that the doctor called on the landline and asked a servant to inform Imlie about the multivitamin inclusion. She thinks she wanted to give poison injection but hears Imlie’s footsteps and has to give multivitamin instead.
Imlie gathers the family and informs them that she will stay at Rana’s house only if she is allowed to pay the rent. Devika asks if she wants to deprive them of their rights. Imlie says that she will not deprive them of their right to be loved and pampered, but she wants to be self-sufficient since childhood. Keya asks her to stop pretending to pay the rent as she has agreed to stay in Rana’s house. Imlie says that it means a lot to her and convinces Devika and Rudra with her emotional speech. Keya is furious that Imlie easily convinced the family, now she has to instruct the nurse to kill Atharv as soon as possible. The nurse injects poison into Atharv’s drip. Atharv wakes up calling for Carrie, removes his drip and panics. Nurse thinks she wasted the dose of poison, Kaya will not spare her. Imlie comes running and scolds the nurse. She pacifies Atharv and reminds him how he saved Carrie and that she is safe now. Atharv says it means their teamwork worked, why don’t they continue their teamwork forever.
