Today’s Meet 23rd October 2023 episode starts with Priyanka enthusiastically showed Sumeet the community marriage ceremony board she had made. Sumeet praised him on this. Shagun had come to check on the Chaudhary family and their condition. Meanwhile, Shlok contemplates whether he should call Sakshi as she is the owner of a major music company. He calls her but disconnects the phone. Sumeet goes to Shlok and asks what are you thinking but Shlok leaves.
Akki sees Shagun outside their house and recalls Sumeet’s request to inform him if he saw Shagun coming. He threw his marbles near Shagun’s feet, causing her to stumble and preventing her from going inside. Sumeet sees Shagun outside and quickly hides all the wedding decorations they were working on.
Sumeet and Poonam decide to act to confuse Shagun. He pretended not to have money and mentioned not getting work. Sumeet even expressed concern that Shlok may have to sing on trains and roads. Anju cryingly asked her grandmother to bring back her ancestral treasure. Shagun was pleased to see their obvious difficulties. He assumed that they were already suffering and did not need any additional trouble.
When Shagun left, Sumeet thanked God. He expressed hope to make the community marriage a grand event. Meanwhile, Pankhuri takes her father to the priest to match Priyanka’s fake horoscope with Raj’s horoscope. He claimed that their marriage could not take place due to incompatibility. Pankhuri insisted that they love each other very much. The priest predicted that if they married, they would fight and separate within a few days.
Shagun and Raunak meet Sakshi and warn her that if Sumeet gets even the slightest doubt on them, she will reveal their affair. Sumeet made the first invitation to Goddess Durga and sought her blessings for the community marriage and all the brides getting married.
All the brides come and Shlok teases Sumeet about getting married again. The Collector thanked Sumeet for making the community marriage so lively. He said that soon the chief guest will arrive and weddings can begin. The Chaudhary family went to see who was the chief guest. He was surprised when Shagun appeared as the chief guest. The Collector asked Sumeet to welcome Shagun by garlanding her. Shagun asks Sumeet if he is surprised.
As the show progressed, Shagun teased Sumeet about his inability to cheat on her. He claimed that he had done everything he had to do. Sumeet wonders what Shagun is doing. The Collector inquires about the priest, as it was an auspicious time for the marriage, and asks Anju to investigate his whereabouts. Anju told that she had called but could not be contacted. It is revealed that Raunak had kidnapped the priest, and Shagun praises him for the idea. He believed that Shlok’s family would now have to face humiliation.
Poonam and Raj tried calling various priests, but none of them responded. Shagun provokes the collector and urges him to hurry up the marriage as she needs to leave from there. He also threatened to ban Sumeet’s work. However, Sumeet confidently said that the weddings will go ahead as promised.
