Meet 28th October 2023 episode starts with Sumeet mentioned that she had received a proposal from a Sardar family, and she agreed to perform together at a wedding ceremony and they had to decide which song they should perform.
Shagun praises Sakshi’s work and wonders how Shlok will tell Sumeet about his decision. He praises Sakshi’s excellent acting, which makes Shlok feel guilty and he agrees not to perform at the shows. Shagun also gave money to a media reporter who raised questions during the press conference.
Sumeet asked Shlok how could he make such a promise as his success was due to his performance in community weddings. Shlok replied that he did not want his image to be tarnished and Sumeet reminded him to stay true to himself. She couldn’t understand why Sakshi didn’t let Shlok sing at weddings, but Shlok asked why she was bringing Sakshi into it when it wasn’t her concern.

Sumeet expresses concern that Sakshi’s materialistic outlook and Shlok’s crediting her for his success is creating tension in their relationship.
Shlok tells Sumeet that Sakshi has agreed to let him perform in the program and has given him an advance check of Rs 2 lakh. He gave gifts to all the family members but jokingly teased Sumeet for forgetting his gift. Shlok offers to take her to a five-star hotel for dinner, but Sumeet reminds him of his meeting with Mr. Gill. Sakshi tells Shagun that this incident can create a rift between Shlok and Sumeet. Mr. Gill provided a long list of songs for them to perform, which angered Shlok and when Mrs. Gill addressed Sumeet as “dhol wali”, he insisted that if he could not show respect he would Go away.
