Meet 8th September 2023 episode starts with Poonam preparing Anand’s Shraddha thali with sadness, while Sumeet looks at her and says that he knows what emotional turmoil she is going through.Hearing this, Poonam admits her helplessness as she cannot get Shlok to perform Anand’s Shraddha.
However, Sumeet asks Poonam not to worry and says that he will at least let her touch the Shraddha thali.Later, Shlok and Chaudhary gather for Janmashtami preparations, during which Raj visits the tube well.Seeing Raj, Pankhuri follows him with a stole and says that she has chosen it especially for him but Raj goes away.Meanwhile, Sumeet hands over the Shraddha thali to Shlok and asks him to hold it as he has to check other things.
She gives the plate to Shlok and asks him to hold it, meanwhile Sumeet and Poonam smile at each other.Later, Shlok tries to remove the cloth from the plate but Poonam sees this and asks Sumeet to bring the plate after which Shlok is unable to open the plate.Later, Priyanka and Raj confront each other, leading to Raj apologizing to Priyanka, but Priyanka apologizes instead.
She says that she was wrong about Raj’s character, to which Raj tells her that whoever she chooses can be with him from the bottom of his heart.Priyanka tells Raj that there is nothing in her heart right now except Shlok winning Shagun’s task, to which Raj assures her that things will be fine.Inside, Poonam tells Sumeet that she will perform Anand’s Shraddha when they leave, while outside, Shagun and Raunak see some masked drummers.
She reveals one of them and tells Raunak that no matter what happens she will tell Shlok about Anand’s death.She then threatens the masked men to expose themselves otherwise the game will be considered a foul.Shagun then starts the countdown but stops when she sees a masked person coming towards her.This silences her while the masked man is followed by another line of masked people who eventually remove their masks.
It is revealed that they are Chaudhary and Raj, while Shagun sees this and tries to approach them, but is unable to enter through the dholwalas.Shagun, aiming to tell Shlok the truth, climbs onto the stage, while Sumeet senses that Shagun is up to no good.Shagun announces that she has to confess something to Shlok but Raj disconnects the microphone.Sumeet asks everyone to focus on the game but Shlok asks Sumeet about Shagun’s antics.
She asks him to ignore her while Shlok wonders about Anand’s whereabouts.On the other hand Shagun shouts for Shlok but on the other hand Shlok keeps calling Anand.Akash’s phone vibrates but he hangs up while Sumit silently says he is sorry seeing Shlok’s helplessness.Shlok gets restless but Sumeet tells him to focus on the game.
The game begins while Shagun and Raunak’s constant attempts to reach Shlok fail miserably.Sumit slips but Shlok saves him while Shagun plans to do something so that Sumit loses the task.From behind, a priest inquires about Poonam’s house from which Shagun learns that Poonam has called the priest.At Chowdhary’s, Poonam gets a call from the priest that she has to perform the puja in the north direction and agrees.
Outside Raunak gives money to the priest after which the priest leaves.In the game, Sumeet and Shlok reach the top and get the coconuts on the pot.Poonam starts worshiping Anand while Shagun whispers something in Raunak’s ear which makes him run away fast.Suddenly, a flash causes the shloka to be interrupted and eventually he moves on to see Anand’s shraadh.
Sumeet gets scared while Shagun walks around Poonam with a pot of water and breaks it.Shlok becomes numb and falls breaking the pyramid which makes Poonam cry in despair.
