Today’s Yeh Hai Chahatein 18th November 2023 episode starts with Boss calls Kashvi and asks if she liked the drama. He says we can’t kill you, so kidnapped your son. Kashvi gets shocked and says you have a big misunderstanding, and says that boy is not my son. The boss/goon tells if she thinks he is a fool and says he has seen the pain in their eyes for each other, and asks if anyone helps a stranger.
He asks him to accept the promotion and then release his comrades from jail. He says if you don’t do what I said then I will give it back in small pieces. Kashvi warns her and says that if anything happens to her, I will cut you into small pieces. The goon ends the call. Kashvi says why is the goon considering Karun as my son, and asks Dadi to go to the government mess. She says she has to save Karun and leaves.
Arjun and Mahima go to PS. Arjun tells everything to the inspector. Inspector asks if he has enmity with anyone. Arjun looks towards Mahima. Inspector asks if anyone leaves the little boy alone. Mahima tells him not to talk about his shortcomings and look for his son. Inspector says the boy will be found. Arjun takes Mahima out and says he hopes Karun doesn’t get into trouble because of her.
She says you are pointing fingers at my motherly love and nurturing. She says she doesn’t tell him, but he has made many sacrifices for them. Arjun asks Mahima if she will tell him what price she will have to pay for her mistake and asks her not to talk about the sacrifices. He says that if anything happens to my son, I will burn the world. Mahima says he is my son too and says she will keep the vow. Arjun says that he is just 5 years old. Mahima asks him to rest.
Kashvi comes to the department and tells the officer that she is ready to take up the project. The officer says you were adamant on not taking it. Kashvi says she is taking it temporarily and tells him everything about the goons who kidnapped Karun. The officer says that goons can stoop to the limit. Kashvi says we have to do it, and explains that our department will be in a bad light if the media gets involved, and more importantly, she doesn’t want anything to happen to the boy.
She says the goon is the head of the child trafficking racket and says if we catch him we will end it permanently. The officer says let’s do this. Kashvi tells him that they have to involve the police department as well, as they will tell Karun’s parents that Karun will be safe. But we can’t have 100 percent transparency, she says. Arjun asks the inspector if anything was found. The inspector says yes, and tells him that the kidnappers are talking to the civil department and a lady officer is negotiating with them.
Arjun asks why is my son’s kidnapping related to national security? Inspector says this is a sensitive case of child kidnapping, hence a woman officer is involved in it. Arjun says he wants to meet her and thanks her. The inspector calls Kashvi, who lets him meet her. Karun fools himself and tries to escape from the kidnappers, but the boss catches him and ties him up again. Kashvi waits for the goon’s call. Goon calls Kashvi and asks if he has accepted his promotion. Kashvi says yes. The goon says you have the power to release the prisoners and asks him to release his 5 associates. Kashvi is shocked and agrees to release them. He asks her to come with him to him.
Kashvi ends the call. The officer asks how can she take a foolish decision. Kashvi says we have to do as they say, and can’t risk Karun’s life. She says she has a plan and tells that they will involve the police team, and tells that she will take 5 prisoners with her, and as soon as the exchange happens and Karun reaches her. She will call the police and get them arrested. The officer says there is a risk in this. Kashvi asks him to trust her and says no mistake will happen and Karun will be saved.
She tells that she wants Dadi to remain in police custody at the police station until the mission is completed. The constable makes Kashvi wear a bullet proof jacket and gives him a gun and tells him to use it and not hesitate. Kashvi takes it. Peon comes there and says Karun’s father is waiting for you. Arjun comes to Kashvi’s cabin and waits for the officer. Kashvi feels that something big is about to happen. Arjun also feels the same.
Precap: Arjun wonders why the lady officer has not come yet. Later at the fair, Karun comes running to Arjun. Kashvi sees Arjun as Karun’s father.
