Today’s Yeh Hai Chahatein 23rd October 2023 episode starts with Mahima asks Kashvi what will happen to Arjun if Pradyumna dies, it will be called murder and he can be punished and imprisoned for life, and you are responsible for this. Kashvi says that if the truth was hidden then the police would have thought that Arjun is wrong and ran away. She says that she has faith in the law and the justice system and tells that her wife is with her, and will ensure that Arjun will not be punished for a crime he did not commit. She says she will feed Arjun Arjun says Mahima has already served food. Kashvi gets upset and leaves.
Lawyer tells that Arjun’s case is in fast track court and says you both know what to say in court. Mahima tells that she will give the statement that Pradyumna was provoking Arjun to beat her and then a fight happened and Pradyumna fell and got hurt. Kashvi says she didn’t see Pradyumna provoking Arjun, by the time she reached inside, he had already fallen down. Nitya gets upset and argues with him. Kashvi says she did not see. Lawyer says if you say this then we will lose the case.

The lawyer says okay, but try to make him understand.
Later they all pray to God and leave from there. Dadi tells Kashvi that she has always taught her to speak the truth, and asks her to save Arjun and says if your relation with him breaks then you will curse your truth. She asks him to save Arjun like Savitri saved Satyavan. Kashvi prays to God to help her in this ordeal and give her strength.
Nitya asks the lawyer if he is ready. The lawyer says that everything depends on Kashvi’s statement. Arjun was brought to the court. Nitya hugs him and cries. Arjun says what to say? Nitya says we will take you home. Mahima says we want him back home, and Kashvi will also think the same. She tells that Arjun will be punished because of Kashvi’s statement. Pradyumna’s wife tells the lawyer that all the evidence and witnesses are in his favor and asks him to control his emotions. Hearing of the case begins. Pradyumna’s lawyer says that Arjun Bajwa had attacked my client Pradyumna Thapar and today he is struggling between life and death. He requests the judge to give life imprisonment to Arjun as he tried to kill him out of hatred and anger.
Arjun’s lawyer says it has not been proven that Arjun is responsible and says it was an accident and not a planned conspiracy. He says that Pradyuman provoked my client to beat him and accidentally he got pushed and got hurt. Pradyumna’s lawyer called Mahesh Srivastava. Mahesh told that he had gone to give a stay order to Arjun because the land belonged to Pradyumna, when Arjun got angry and attacked him. He gives the video as proof.
The lawyer says he wants to show the clip to the court. He shows her the video and says his anger and hatred is clear. He says that he tried to kill her as soon as he got the chance and his motive for doing so is because he knows that as long as she is alive, his biogas project will not start. Arjun’s lawyer says that he has proof that Arjun is not wrong and there is concrete reason for his being angry.
