Pradyuman gives a tampered file to Kashvi’s office peon and asks him to place it on the desk of Kashvi’s superior officer among the approved files. The peon agrees and takes his bribe. Pradyumna feels that now his revenge on Kashvi is complete. Mahima gets dressed in red saree and thinks Arjun’s choice is really good, she looks better than Kashvi. She goes towards Kashvi’s room to take the bracelet and seeing Arjun on the phone, she turns off the light and turns her back to see his reaction. Arjun hugs her from behind mistaking her for Kashvi and expresses his love for her. Kashvi comes inside and switches on the light. She is shocked to see Arjun hugging Mahima. Arjun nervously leaves Mahima and says that Mahima is wearing Kashvi’s saree, so he thought it was Mahima. Kashvi tries to leave. Arjun stopped him. Mahima says Arjun didn’t give time to react. Arjun says they are of same height and Mahima is wearing Kashvi’s perfume.
Mahima asks can’t he understand the difference, she thinks he still loves her and she hugs him purposely finding the opportunity. Arjun says that their relationship ended when he left her alone in the wedding mandap, he married Kashvi and loves Kashvi now, Mahima should stop her misunderstanding and self-importance. Mahima says that Kashvi is hurt now and she should sort out their issues. She leaves. Coming back to the room, Arjun asks Kashvi to give Mahima her first gift. Kashvi says it is Mahima’s engagement and her saree was torn, so she gave her saree to Mahima. Arjun asks how can she disrespect her feelings towards him. Kashvi asks why was he hugging Mahima, she feels Mahima is right that he still loves her. Arjun asks how can she say that, he is married to her and respects their marriage, he did not expect this from her. He gets angry and goes away. Kashvi thinks she wrongly accused Arjun after listening to Mahima and feels guilty. She decides to apologize to him.
Mahima and Mohit’s engagement has started. Kashvi tries to stand apart from Arjun. Arjun leaves. The song Kyun aata hai seene mein.. plays in the background. After ring exchange, Dadi greets everyone and asks Arjun to bring sweets. Arjun goes to get sweets. Kashvi follows him and asks if she can help. He angrily says he doesn’t need it. She tries to feed him laddus. He again refuses rudely. Nitya returns home. Everyone is feeling happy to see him back. Nitya gifts a necklace to Mahima and takes her to the room instead of wearing it. She confronts Mahima and learns what is going on, Mahima’s behavior towards Arjun changed after she got her grandfather’s property; He thought that Mahima would help him to separate Arjun and Kashvi, but Mahima is playing some other game. प्रद्युम्न काशवी कार्यालय के चपरासी को एक छेड़छाड़ की हुई फाइल देता है और उसे स्वीकृत फाइलों के बीच काशवी के वरिष्ठ अधिकारी के डेस्क पर रखने के लिए कहता है। चपरासी सहमत हो जाता है और अपनी रिश्वत ले लेता है। प्रद्युम्न को लगता है कि अब काशवी से उसका बदला पूरा हो गया है। महिमा लाल साड़ी में तैयार हो जाती है और सोचती है कि अर्जुन की पसंद वास्तव में अच्छी है, वह काशवी से बेहतर दिखती है। वह काशवी से कड़ा लेने के लिए उसके कमरे की ओर जाती है और अर्जुन को फोन पर देखकर लाइट बंद कर देती है और उसकी प्रतिक्रिया देखने के लिए उसकी ओर पीठ करके खड़ी हो जाती है। अर्जुन उसे काशवी समझकर पीछे से गले लगाता है और उसके प्रति अपने प्यार का इजहार करता है। काशवी अंदर आती है और लाइट जलाती है। अर्जुन को महिमा को गले लगाते देख वह चौंक जाती है। अर्जुन घबराकर महिमा को छोड़ देता है और कहता है कि महिमा ने काशवी की साड़ी पहनी है, इसलिए उसने सोचा कि यह महिमा है। काश्वी जाने की कोशिश करती है। अर्जुन ने उसे रोका। महिमा का कहना है कि अर्जुन ने प्रतिक्रिया के लिए समय नहीं दिया। अर्जुन का कहना है कि वे एक ही ऊंचाई के हैं और महिमा ने काशवी का परफ्यूम लगाया हुआ है।
