Today’s Bhagya Lakshmi episode starts with Rishi asking Lakshmi if she is feeling pain anywhere because in her condition she should not remain hungry for so long.Lakshmi says that she feels rats running in her stomach to which Rishi laughs lightly and he tells her that she will eat soon.Neelam and Virendra come there with Karishma while Rishi asks Lakshmi to wait as they need the moon to rise.
Harleen asks everyone to sit as the sky is looking dark and Rishi asks Lakshmi to count to ten if she is getting impatient as the moon will be visible by the end of it.Lakshmi starts counting loudly but Rishi asks her to count in her mind after which Shalu sees the moon rising and tells everyone.Upon seeing the moon, Lakshmi gets excited and starts dancing with Rishi which makes Rishi, Ayush, Shalu and Bani happy.
Neelam prepares the aarti thali and Rishi sees her lighting the lamp which has fire in it and Lakshmi gets scared of the fire.As Neelam and Virendra begin their puja, Rishi takes Lakshmi to the other side and gives her a channi to play with so that she remains distracted till the main time.However, Channi falls from Lakshmi’s hand and she sees fire in the lamp after which Lakshmi starts running here and there screaming loudly.
Virendra immediately extinguishes the lamp as he sees Lakshmi getting scared which shocks Neelam as it is her aarti thali.Neelam asks Virendra why he would extinguish the lamp, to which Virendra tells her not to feel too bad as Lakshmi is scared of the flames.Virendra asks Neelam to understand him a little after which Neelam completes her rituals and explains to Rishi Lakshmi that she will not be harmed by the fire in the lamp as it is used to worship God.
Lakshmi calms down and comes to perform the Karva Chauth ritual with Rishi and follows the steps learned from Neelam.Malishka comes and is shocked to see Lakshmi performing the Karva Chauth ritual for Rishi and Karishma tells that it is Malishka’s fault that Lakshmi has kept the fast.After the ritual is over, Rishi goes to get food but Lakshmi asks him not to leave and Ayush brings food for them.
Lakshmi says that Shalu and Bani are not her sisters after which she asks Rishi to feed her and she feeds Rishi.Ayush, Bani and Shalu are happy to see Rishi and Lakshmi together after which Ayush comes to Malishka’s room and asks her why she suggested Lakshmi to fast in her condition.Ayush clearly tells Malishka that she is no longer needed in that house and she should stop coming there for Rishi.Later, Rishi makes Lakshmi lie down on her bed and tells her his name to which Lakshmi is not impressed and she says that she likes short names like Chintu, Mintu etc.
