Imlie 28th October 2023 episode starts with Sonali tells Agastya and Imi that she has already done the reception so that both of them can perform the rituals in front of everyone. Imlie gets worried wondering if the villagers will recognize her. Sonali asks why are they both looking stressed, she will tell the solution to their problems. Agastya says he has no problem.
Imlie thinks let Agastya handle himself, she will protect herself first. She keeps a veil on her face. Dadi stops her and says Agastya has done a good thing by marrying such a beautiful girl for the first time, she doesn’t want Imlie to hide her face. She asks them to take blessings of elders. Both of them touch Govind’s feet. Govind stops them and says that he is also young like them and hopes that his son Karan returns from abroad and gets married. They take blessings from other elders. Jugnu tells Dolly that Agastya and Imlie look great together and hopes that Imlie will get a smile on Agastya’s face.
Dadi asks them to perform Kohbar ritual with Aarti first. Both of them perform Aarti holding each other’s hands. Dadi says let us go to temple for hand impression ritual and asks them to imprint their hands on the temple walls and unite for lifetimes. Agastya tells Imlie that he doesn’t want to live with her even for a moment, Dadi wants them to live together for the rest of their lives.
Imlie says that she will not find a life partner like him for many births. Agastya says he doesn’t want to. Dadi asks them to follow the ritual first. Agastya inscribed his hands on the wall of the temple. Rajni stops Imlie and says as per the ritual, the bride’s marks should be above the groom’s marks and asks Agastya to lift Imlie. Agastya hesitates. Sonali asks him to show his gym strength. Agastya reminds how he defeated the wrestlers. Imlie asks if he will suppress her. Agastya asks if he is a wrestler. She says no. He picks her up and she imprints her hands on the wall.
A villager recognizes Imlie and tells his wife that he has seen Agastya’s wife somewhere. Imlie returns home emotional. Agastya asks if he has hurt her that she is crying. Imlie says she wanted to do these rituals with her husband, but now she has to do it with him. Agastya says even he is not happy doing the rituals with her, anyway no one would have married her and done the rituals with her.
Sonali moves towards them. Agastya asks Imlie to behave well in front of Imlie. Imlie leaves. Sonali asks Agastya why both of them always look stressed, what is he hiding. Agastya asks him to stop the guessing game and leaves. Sonali feels that he is doing something wrong and hence gets nervous by his question.
Dadi calls Pallo. Pallo rudely asks him to speak. Dadi says she is speaking Annapurna and asks why they didn’t attend Imlie’s Kohbar ritual. Pallo says he has fever. Dadi says Imlie didn’t inform her about it and says she will come to meet her. Pallo says that it is a contagious viral disease which she got from Bulbul and hence Annapurna should avoid meeting her. She disconnects the call. Bulbul cries that she did not do anything. Pallo beat him with a broom.
Imlie gets lost in thoughts.. Agastya asks her to step aside. Dadi asks them to prepare laddu together for the next ritual. They start making laddus. The villager told his wife that he had definitely seen this girl somewhere. The wife questions whether he remembers their wedding anniversary, children’s birthdays and the name of the school. He becomes stressed. She says she doesn’t remember it and wants to remember the girl’s name. He asks her to go and eat gulab jamun.
While performing the ritual, Agastya and Imli start bickering. Manno says that if she had got filmy love like Imlie and Agastya, she too would have got married long ago. Imlie keeps arguing with Agastya. Agastya closed his mouth with a laddu. After feeding laddus to Agastya, grandmother asks Imlie to sing a song as the next ritual. Imlie feeds laddus to Agastya and Balma sings the song Chhail Chhabila.. The villager identified her as bar singer Imli. Imlie gets upset seeing him.
