Today’s Kumkum Bhagya episode starts with Ranbir looking for Prachi in the hospital corridor and calling her name.Prachi has also reached the hospital but still his eyes do not fall on her while Ranbir keeps wondering in his mind why he is thinking about Prachi.Meanwhile, Prachi is wandering in the hallway with thoughts of Ranbir being dead, so now she has to stop thinking about him because if Ranbir was alive he would have come looking for her.
Eventually she finds Purvi whom she starts scolding for not being responsible and Purvi tries to console Prachi by saying that her wound is not very deep.Prachi even shouts that Ashutosh is not a good person as he has not taken the responsibility of saving Purvi from the fire.However, Purvi tries to defend Ashutosh by saying that Ashutosh was looking for her so Prachi should not scold him.
She further claims that some children were trapped in the fire so she ran inside again to save those children which melts Prachi’s heart as she too would have done the same without thinking.Prachi apologizes to Purvi for scolding her without knowing the real reason, to which Purvi enthusiastically replies that she is not angry with her as she takes care of Prachi.Purvi also takes Prachi out of the hospital room so that she can meet Ranbir but Ranbir has already left the hospital which makes Purvi a little worried.
Just then, a nurse comes to Purvi and says that someone has called the receptionist who wants to talk to Purvi and it turns out to be Ranbir.He asks Purvi if she is safe now, while Purvi complains that if Ranbir was here he would have met her mother, and says that Ranbir should talk to his mother.When Prachi takes the phone, Ranbir becomes silent for a moment as he gets a strange feeling while Prachi also stands there without saying anything.
On the other hand, at home, Ashok is busy calculating the damage caused by the fire, when Vishakha suddenly announces that she is missing her favorite granddaughter, Khushi.Hearing this, Diya complains that Vishakha is always biased towards Khushi, ignoring Purvi causing Vishakha to stare angrily at Diya.At the same time, Prachi and Purvi return home and Purvi tells everyone about Ranbir which starts a discussion on how strangers sometimes turn out to be wonderful people.
Meanwhile, Ranbir returns to his empty big mansion, where he sits on the sofa and cries, feeling sad over not having Prachi or his daughter in his life anymore.Later, Diya makes some chits in her room and asks Purvi to choose one so Purvi chooses the name of RV, which makes Diya excited.Diya says that she wants Purvi to marry RV and not Ashutosh.Hearing this Purvi smiles softly and leaves the room to get dry clothes where RV notices her as his car has broken down there.
