Today’s Meet 14th October 2023 episode starts with Sumeet and Shlok’s remarriage, a man in a veil knocks on the door claiming to be Kanchan from their native village to bless them. Grandma welcomes him as he is from her village. However, it turns out that it is Shagun who aims to ruin the occasion. Rajeev praises uncle for the creative idea of using a toy car for the haldi ceremony. Shagun distracts him by throwing a plate and puts something in the haldi.
Shlok secretly held Sumeet’s hand and tried to be romantic. Anju and Rajiv bring haldi, and Dadi asks Poonam to start the ritual. Shagun believes that her drama will soon come to light, and a terrible omen occurs when a dead snake is found in the bowl of turmeric. Sumeet tries to keep things positive and reassures everyone that they are together and happy. The guests blame Anju and Rajiv thinking that they are not professional wedding planners. Shagun fears more chaos as family members will start fighting.
Rajeev and uncle are on the verge of arguing, but Sumeet and Shlok manage to handle the situation. Their conversation is interrupted when Anju starts crying, upset over the wedding preparations. She tells Rajeev that they had dreamed big and now it seems like this is the first and last task of planning their wedding. Sumeet asked Shlok if he would leave the song if the producer rejected his song. Shlok is determined not to let this happen because he has put everything at stake.
Tauji smells a foul smell and Shlok identifies it as formalin. They realized that the same smell was also coming from Kanchan, the person in the veil. Sumeet has an idea to reveal the truth. She suggests starting with Shagun and serving sweets to the guests. However, Shagun refuses to eat, saying that she smells formalin in the custard.
In a flashback, it is revealed that with Akki’s help, Sumeet discovered that Kanchan was actually Shagun in disguise. Shlok asks Shagun how she entered their house. The family insists on Shagun leaving, and Shlok and Sumeet’s haldi ceremony continues happily. Even Raj and Priyanka enjoy dancing together and Raj applies haldi to both Shlok and Sumeet. Shagun calls the music producer to inform Shlok about breaking their contract, convinced that Shlok’s career will suffer, putting a strain on their relationship.
