Today’s Yeh Hai Chahatein 13th October 2023 episode starts with Aruna tells Kashvi that whoever did this, he created fake evidence against me and sent me to jail. She asks him to find out the truth, and asks him to meet his lawyer, who will tell him about Baba’s “wish”. She says she doesn’t want to die with this accusation, and asks him to promise. His condition worsens. Kashvi calls the nurse. The nurse puts him on an oxygen mask. Kashvi promises him that she will find out the truth.
Aruna tells that whoever is the culprit, he is very clever and can even harm her when he finds out that she is being interrogated, and asks her not to tell anyone. Kashvi goes out and thinks who can do this? Arjun told the family that the ministry’s inspection has been done and they are happy with our work. Jagdish says we are proud of you. Romila says us too. Nitya says now you can start work. Arjun says not now, because they have to take permission from the environment ministry. Mahima says she will take appointment.

Kashvi recalls Samrat’s audio recording and says Papa told that that woman is from my in-laws house, who is powerful and dangerous. She thinks bua ji is arrogant, but she doesn’t have the power or money to do so. She thinks that there were only two women in her in-laws’ house. He realizes that Nitya is the one who is more powerful and also has money. She says she can get that person out of her way.
Mahima comes to office with Arjun. His assistant tells that the minister had gone out to a village for 3 days. Arjun gets worried. He calls Nithya and tells that the minister went for 3 days. Nitya asks him not to spoil her mood and says she will take appointment again.
Kashvi thinks Nitya can’t do this, she was mom’s best friend and they were like sisters. She says that Nitya Maa always helped her mother. She says her civil service office has her name on it, and wonders how can I think this. She thinks when Arjun and I caught Birju, we found a piece of torn saree. She thinks that Nitya’s saree was not torn. She thinks Nitya has changed her saree. She thinks when Birju was about to tell us, she came and killed him. She thinks he is very confused, but he realizes that Nitya is the murderer.
She thinks he has all the confusion and is not sure about it. Arjun comes out and is upset. Mahima asks him to calm down. Arjun says our work is delayed by 3 days and there is no guarantee that the minister will do our work. Mahima asks him to come to Sundar Lake Farmhouse, which is the minister’s farmhouse. She tells that they will go there and wait for his return. Arjun told that he is very happy to give him the job. Mahima says she is happy and thinks this is her next step towards him.
Precap: Kashvi meets Birju’s family and asks if he has told the name of the murderer. His wife nods yes. Mahima tries to get closer to Arjun. Later Kashvi tries to know about Arjun and sees him with Mahima in the car.
