Today’s Kumkum Bhagya 18th October 2023 episode starts with Ashok telling Manpreet that he doesn’t want to send his children away from him, but now the time has come to send them away from him. Manpreet asks what is he saying, she doesn’t know. Ashok explains that as parents we have to protect our children. He says we know they will do bad to themselves, other people will think they will do bad to them, but we know very well. He says we have to send him to a mental asylum. She says no. He says we have to send him to that mental asylum.
Prachi comes to Ranbir’s room and sees him sleeping. She looks at him and gets emotional. Ranbir is awake and asks her to apply ointment. Prachi says I thought you were sleeping. He asks her to apply ointment. I will still love you drama… Prachi sits on the bed and applies ointment on his back. Ranbir tells her that he can’t see tears in her eyes. Prachi says don’t say anything, she has no tears. Ranbir asks if I am seeing wrong. Prachi says yes, you are seeing wrong and thinking wrong.
Ranbir says it means you don’t care about me and are applying ointment like this. Prachi says she is angry with him, and asks why did he get hurt? Ranbir says I will save you thousand times and will not listen to anyone in your matter, not even you. Mihika looks at them. Prachi recalls her rude behavior with him. Ranbir says I hope my hands would have got burnt, if my back had not got burnt you would have hugged me. He asks her to hug him and holds her hand. Mihika gets upset and leaves. Prachi says she will and leaves.
Mihika sees pills in her hand and mixes them in Prachi’s water bottle. She is about to leave her room when Prachi comes there and asks what happened? Mihika says she came to her room thinking and says she will leave. She goes. Prachi comes inside and sits on the bed. She takes water in the glass and drinks. Then she puts the bottle and glass back and prays to God and goes to sleep. Mihika looks at him and says good night, have a long sleep. She smiles and leaves. Ranbir is also sleeping. Mihika comes there. Ranbir says Prachi. Mihika asks him to open his eyes carefully and look at her. She calls Mihika and tells her to change her name if she wants. Ranbir asks where is Prachi? Mihika says she is sleeping. She gives him medicine. Ranbir asks if she is fine. Mihika says that she is sleeping to take beauty sleep, so that she does not get dark circles.
Manpreet tells Ashok that she is arranging breakfast. She says everything is ready and needs to be served. Ashok asks Divya to help Manpreet. Divya says if I try to help her then she will say that Prachi will help her. Ashok asks her to become like Prachi and asks why are you jealous. Divya says you are crazy for her, and will ask Sarkar to give her an award, if she says she is breathing. Vishakha comes there and asks Divya if she has food. Divya says no. Vishakha asks about Prachi. Manpreet says she is sleeping. Akshay asks if she is still sleeping. Manpreet says yes. He comes to Prachi’s room and sees her sleeping. He touches her face. Prachi wakes up and asks about the time. Akshay says 10:45 am. Prachi says I have to give medicine to Ranbir. Akshay gets upset when Prachi leaves from there.
Prachi comes to Ranbir. Ranbir tells Prachi to tell Mihika to let him eat. Mihika asks Prachi to go and take bath and do her work. Ranbir tries to stop Prachi. Prachi leaves from there. Mihika says Prachi also needs rest and you made her a nurse. Ranbir tells that he did not think, and thanks Mihika for taking care of him. Mihika says she will take care of him all her life.
Vishakha asks Manpreet to sit and eat. Manpreet says she will take it later. Ashok sits and says whatever is destined to happen will happen, nothing is in the hands of humans. He says that when a person has to become a puppet then why should it be done. Vishakha asks what are you saying? Manpreet says that he is talking about compulsion and says that what a person thinks, is what is destined. Ashok asks if our luck changed? Vishakha asks them not to worry.
She asks Manpreet to have breakfast. Manpreet says I will keep it with Prachi. She recalls the events and becomes stressed. She collides with Divya. Divya asks are you fine? Ashok asked Manpreet, is he okay? Manpreet says yes. Akshay comes and asks are you fine? Manpreet gets emotional and says I love you very much. Akshay asks why are you crying? Vishakha thinks I told her about Mihika and hence she is worried.
, Ashok asked him to rest for some time. He sees Prachi there and asks her to have food. Prachi refuses and says she is not hungry.
Vishakha asks why she is behaving like she doesn’t care about them, and says she is just worried for Ranbir. Prachi says she didn’t think. Ashok asks what is his mistake, if he did not think about us one day then it is not a crime. Manpreet says it is not Prachi’s responsibility, and says we will work. Vishakha says she cares about Manpreet’s health and argues. Prachi asks Manpreet to have food. Manpreet says she will take it later and asks her not to feel bad about Vishakha’s words. Ashok asks Prachi if she wants to go to her parents’ house, and meet Shahana and Dadi. He asks her to go and meet them, at least she will be away from the troubles here. He says you will feel peace there. He asks her to have breakfast. Prachi asks him to sit.
Divya overhears and tells Mihika that Ashok is sending Prachi to her maternal home. She says uncle ji never lets her go, so he might be suspicious now. Mihika asks what? Divya says that a murder attempt was made on her. Mihika says she will not stop and will be the first to separate Ranbir and Prachi. Divya looks at Prachi. Mihika turns and sees Prachi standing. Prachi asks Mihika why she tried to kill her. Mihika asks Divya to leave and says time has come to talk face to face.
Precap: Mihika tells Prachi that Khushi has to be removed from their way, who is linking her with Ranbir. Prachi is shocked. Khushi tells that she is going on picnic with Akshay and Mihika. Mihika asks Prachi to imagine seeing Ranbir in her embrace.
