Shlok’s entire house is engulfed in fire and both his family and Sumeet are trapped inside. Shagun sees everything on her phone. Sumeet sees a water pipe and tries to break it. She succeeds in breaking it, and water gushes out, extinguishing all the fires. Poonam hugs Sumeet, expressing her gratitude for giving him a second chance in life. Shagun is disappointed that her plan failed. Meanwhile, Shlok realizes that for Sumeet’s happiness he has to accept the deal and have a drink with Sakshi. Rajeev returns home and shares the devastating news that his shop has burned down, and he has lost all his goods and investments.
Anju tells Sumeet that the goods she lost represent her entire investment and she had also received an advance amount for it. She tries to call Shlok, but Sakshi silently switches off her phone and keeps encouraging her to drink more. Sumeet is worried about whatever happened at home and Shlok’s absence. Shlok gets drunk and thinks about producer’s harsh words. She remembers Raunak’s taunts but is determined to fulfill Sumeet’s dreams. Sakshi gives a check to Shlok and asks if he can accept gifts from his fans now. Shlok still refuses, but Sakshi accidentally drops his phone.
Shlok notices many missed calls from Sumeet and Priyanka. He calls Sumeet, who scolds him for not being there and tells him about the fire. Shlok tells Sakshi that she has to leave immediately and leaves from there. Sakshi expressed her desire to gain control over Shlok’s voice. Raj tells Sumeet that the fire was not accidental, as he smelled kerosene and also saw an open can. Sumeet guesses that this must be Shagun’s plan, as both the house and the shop catch fire simultaneously. Pankhuri instigates Anju against Sumeet and claims that she is being victimized due to Shagun taking revenge on Sumeet.
Shlok returns home and Sumeet is shocked to see him drunk. Poonam and Rajeev scold Shlok for drinking alcohol. Anju scolds him for not answering the call. Raj and Sumeet defend Shlok, saying that being associated with a big company, he might have been forced to drink alcohol. Sumeet suggests that they can sell her diamond necklace to cover Anju and Rajeev’s losses. Jewelery shop staff comes and tells that Shlok has bought a diamond necklace but has not paid for it yet. Sumeet feels helpless as they request him to return the necklace. Raj offers to pay, but Sumeet stops him and returns the necklace.
Shagun and Raunak come and make fun of Sumeet and Shlok. Shagun asks if Raj feels bad for his sister. Sumeet scolds Shagun for setting fire. Shagun tells Shlok that he did the right thing by saving money for their household expenses. She asks him to use it to compensate for Rajeev’s loss. Shagun reveals the truth about Shlok not signing any singing contract and plays a recording of Shlok asking for a chance from the producer. Shagun calls Shlok a loser and provokes him. Shlok breaks down and calls himself a failure. He tells Sumeet that he is freeing him from their relationship and urges him to return to his comfortable world, leaving Sumeet shocked and hurt.
Precap: Sumeet and Shlok get married. Shagun looks at them and says that you may try hard to look happy, but the reality is that there is a rift in your relationship. Shagun tells Sumeet, he lied to you once and will lie more to hide the truth. Sumeet says that this relationship is not for one life but for eternity. Shagun looks for Raunak. Sumeet says you burnt our house, and you think we will let you go so easily.
