Today’s Kumkum Bhagya episode starts with Prachi looks at Ranbir who is busy on the phone and then leaves from there while Mihika shows Divya that Prachi is not as innocent as Manpreet thinks.Then Divya gets worried seeing Manpreet who will expose Prachi’s lie by saying that he did not ask her to make her favorite dish.However, Mihika does not get a chance to talk to Prachi as she gets a call.
Prachi goes to the kitchen and Ranbir goes to the other room.In the kitchen, Prachi prepares to make khichdi when Sangeeta comes there offering to cook but Prachi tells her that Manpreet wants to eat khichdi made by her.As Sangeeta leaves to give medicine to Vishakha, Ranbir comes there making small talk.Meanwhile, Divya asks Mihika if Prachi will feel pain after getting burnt and whether she thinks they should do this.
Mihika tells him that Prachi does not pay attention to her warning and this is the only way to stop Prachi.On the other hand, Ranbir gets shy by asking Prachi if she loves him.Prachi feels embarrassed and asks him to leave while Ranbir tells her that he wants to be with her.Sangeeta hears Ranbir’s name from Mihika and tells her that Ranbir is in the kitchen.Meanwhile, Ranbir tries to light a matchbox and declares it useless.
Prachi asks him to use the lighter which would be there somewhere but cannot find it while Ranbir offers to bring another matchbox from the temple.Prachi looks around for the lighter and asks her not to worry.At the same time, Mihika and Divya come running towards the kitchen and stop Prachi as she opens the knob.Realizing that Ranbir is not in the kitchen, they ask about Ranbir and Prachi tells them that Ranbir has gone to get matchsticks.
Mihika and Divya run to Ranbir and then leave thinking that Ranbir is busy on a call.However, Ranbir realizes that he has a lighter and goes back to the kitchen and tells Prachi that he has a lighter.Before Prachi is about to light the lighter, Ranbir realizes that the gas pipe is not connected to the cylinder.However, he is unable to stop Prachi from pressing the lighter and there is a loud bang in the kitchen right after Ranbir jumps on Prachi.Ashok, Akshay, Vishakha, Manpreet, Mihika and Divya run while the staff and Ashok try to extinguish the fire.
Later, Akshay and Ashok help Ranbir and Prachi out of the fire.Prachi scolds Ranbir for risking his life and always trying to be a hero while Vishakha asks Prachi to hold her horses as Ranbir is in pain.Ranbir tells Vishakha not to worry as this is Prachi’s way of showing her concern.Mihika doesn’t like Ranbir’s comment and walks away while Ashok looks at her thinking.Meanwhile, Akshay tells Abhay that in Prachi’s eyes, Ranbir is increasingly becoming a hero and he is becoming a loser or a sidekick.
He tells Abhay that he has to think something to become a hero in Prachi’s eyes.On the other hand, Abhay hears Mihika telling Divya that she will continue trying to kill Prachi till she dies and also that she is the one behind the brake failure in the car and today’s fire.Akshay comes to Ranbir and thanks him that he saved Prachi and also tells him that only with his help he could come out of the fire.Later, Ashok comes to Akshay’s room and tries to convince him to let Prachi take care of Ranbir and not get angry about it.
However, Akshay tells him that he will ask him for advice when he needs it and sends him out of his room.Later, Abhay tells Akshay about what Mihika has done while Akshay intervenes to confront Mihika.
